On April 1, 2014, Brian launched a site offering to turn digital “tweets” into physical works of art. He hoped that people would share the site, but wasn’t certain people would actually pay to have their “Tweets” engraved onto a plaque.
It turns out… they did.
The site was picked up by several design blogs artisans and social media influencers. Without much publicity, he was generating several hundred dollars a week.
Soon, Brian invested in his own laser-cutting machine. He expanded his business into weddings and mitzvahs and created a new site called: LasersMakeItAwesome.com to offer custom engraving.
To Brian’s surprise, wooden nickels and tokens have been bestsellers. Businesses love handing out small, personalized items. Four years have passed and today Brian earns five-figures consistently.
Turns out, gaining financial freedom from financial pressure is no joke!
